Plot

Quentin Tarantino weaves together three stories throughout the film, the first involving two low-rent hit men, Vincent Vega (John Travolta) and Jules Winnfield (Samuel L. Jackson). They work for Marsellus Wallace (Ving Rhames), who asks Vega to take his beautiful wife, Mia (Uma Thurman) out to dinner for him. The second story relates to a struggling boxer Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis), whom Marsellus orders to take a fall. The final strand of the story shifts to a pair of lovers and small-time thieves, Honey Bunny (Amanda Plummer) and Pumpkin (Tim Roth), who, on the spur of the moment, decide to hold up a restaurant.
