Plot

It's the mid-1960s, and shy Ben Braddock (Dustin Hoffman) is home from college with a degree in hand and an uncertain future in mind. Seduced by Mrs Robinson (Anne Bancroft), an older friend of the family, Ben carries on an affair with the married woman until he meets the girl of his dreams Elaine (Katharine Ross) - Mrs Robinson's daughter. The jealous older woman tries to keep the two apart and arranges Elaine's marriage to someone else, leading to one of the most memorable endings in cinema history.
