Plot

Based on the true story of a group of British, Canadian and American POWs who successfully escaped from Stalag Luft III in Upper Silesia in March 1944. This maximum-security prisoner-of-war camp was designed to hold the craftiest escape artists. However, in gathering all the determined repeat escape offenders in one camp, the Nazis unwittingly assembled the finest escape team in military history.
