Plot

This sequel continues the story of the Corleone crime family. It focuses on the roots and rise of a young Don Vito (Robert DeNiro) growing up in Sicily and in 1910s New York; and the ascension of his son, the new Don Michael (Al Pacino) as he attempts to expand the family business into Hollywood, Las Vegas and Cuba.
